Game Play
Six teams gathered at Arena's in Milford last Thursday to put their brains to the test. Dilly Dilly and The Golden Girls managed to snag the on-time bonus question with the SAME hilarious answer—who says great minds don't think alike?
The first half was filled with a few socials to spark our enthusiasm. Corn Fed strutted out of halftime with a 7-point lead, followed by Thirsty Thursday in second, and Dilly Dilly clinging to the top three like a cat on a curtain.
The second half saw a dramatic turn of events, as we went from a "nocial" to social (thanks for that do-over, universe). Corn Fed took a chance and wagered a zero on a correct answer, which turned out to be a pretty "corn-y" 🌽 move. Meanwhile, the House Team pulled off an epic comeback, snatching victory right out of Corn Fed's buttery grasp!
During Round 2 Question 1 - draw a wine glass! It is National Wine and Cheese Day! Such an amazing pairing! I wonder what your favorite cheese is? I have a tie between Manchego and Boursin...but then there is Havarti with Dill...and Burrata..I guess cheese is my favorite!
Why do wine and cheese never get lonely? Because they always have gouda company! 😂😂
