Game Play
Nine teams gathered for Let's Do Trivia at Arena's in Milford! The Golden Girls led the pack from the jump by earning the OTB (Order of the Brightest) point!
As the sun set and the game commenced, the teams ventured into the dense underbrush of questions and challenges. Team Trebec, a fierce pride of knowledge seekers, took an early lead, navigating the first half of the journey with a 4-point advantage. Hot on their trail were the quick-footed My Drinking Team Has a Trivia Problem and the sturdy Corn Fed, tied for second place. Not far behind, the stealthy Coffin Dodgers, The House Team, and Eagle Claw, all tied for third, pursued with determination.
The bar buzzed with excitement as the teams tackled a variety of challenges, from the peaks of geography to the depths of scientific discovery. As they emerged from the dense foliage of the first half, the adventurers took a brief respite, recalculating their strategies.
In the second half of the safari, Eagle Claw, with the agility and precision of a skilled predator, surged forward, climbing to second place. His swift movement through the thicket of trivia questions created a thrilling chase.
Despite the fierce competition, Team Trebec maintained their lead, navigating the final challenges with unwavering focus. As the bar fell silent and the last question echoed through the trees, Team Trebec stood victorious, taking home the trophy of the Trivia Night Safari. The expedition had tested their wits and endurance, but their triumph was well-deserved, a testament to their knowledge and strategy in the wild jungle of trivia.
During Round 2 Question 1 - draw a pair of sunglasses! It is National Sunglass Day! The history of sunglasses can be traced back to the Inuit tribes in the Arctic regions. In order to maintain vision from the glare of the snow and water reflections, the Inuits created an eye covering with slits in front of the pupils to control exposure to brightness.
