Game Play
On this most recent Thursday night at the Milford Arenas, six trivia teams, including the lively "My Drinking Team has a Trivia Problem" and the quieter "Team Trebec," battled fiercely. As the final round ended, a tiebreaker was needed. The pub erupted in cheers as MDTHTP took home the top prize and the trophy. Team Trebec graciously accepted second place, followed by The Process, The House Team, Baked and Loaded, and Eagle Claw. The night was a thrilling battle of wits, with My Drinking Team emerging victorious in the end.
Team Trebec had the best drawing of Cotton Candy, according to my fiance, as I could not decide this week there were so many good ones! This week, during Round 2 Question 1 please draw a Cat...Today is National Cat Herders day! I mean being a cat herder must be tough, but imagine if the cats are oily??
It's time for Arena's Milford yearly giving drive. This year we are supporting Home of the Brave here in Milford.
"The mission of the Home of the Brave is to
reduce homelessness among our Military Veteran population. In addition to providing transitional housing, food and security, we assist with employment, counseling services, access to healthcare, transportation and locating affordable housing. It is our goal to help our veterans successfully transition into permanent housing and personal independence."
We are asking for everyone's help in getting them the supplies they need to carry on their mission of providing help to homeless Veterans in our area.
Arena's has acquired a chest freezer that Home of the Brave requested, and we'd like you all to help us "Fill that Freezer!" with dry goods off the included list.
For every $20 donation brought in you will receive either a free appetizer or 5 tickets for one of two available raffle packages:
